I've had this Body Rider Elliptical Trainer for about a month now, and this elliptical trainer gives you an exceptional workout and is easy on the joints. I can't believe I did not have to spend lots of money on an expensive elliptical machine to get such a great workout!! It took my husband about three hours to get this machine completely together. Everything was well organized and the instructions were very clear. This machine is as it states "a whisper quiet operaton", very smooth. The magnetic 8 levels of resistance gives you a good variety of workouts, I never get bored. The display for time, distance, calories, etc. is big and very easy to read.
This Body Rider is the perfect "at home" exercise machine. It's not too big or too small, just right for about any room you want to put it in. I'm so happy with this machine and the workout that I am getting from it. Awesome price. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this product to satisfy my needs for cardio workout. The product was shipped and delivered to my apartment in less than a week time frame.
I was worried a bit after reading reviews here on Amazon website for possible shipping damages. when I received the product, the box was slightly damaged, but the product itself was in good condition.
The assembly was, overall, not too difficult. If you have some basic tools, the assembly is much easier and faster. The only problem I had was with the base assembly. I could not get the bolts tightened in with the spring washers - especially for the real base! In my opinion, those bolts were just too short to include two washers. I ended up not including the spring washer for the real base. I hope no harm will come from not including the spring washer in the future.
I did not have a chance to fully test the product just yet, as the product came in the night before this review, but I did have a chance to warm it up and kind of break in. The motion seems to be smooth and quite. In hoping for a smoother, friction-less motion, I applied WD-40 to few connecting joints. I was on the machine for about 10 - 15 minutes with mostly on 2 - 3 settings. It felt good afterwords. My heart was pumping and I had sweats on my forehead.
So far, everything seems to be working fine. I was happy and satisfied with the product after a short warm up. The product seems sturdy and quite. Size is also good. I would recommend this product to anyone! |

I bought this elliptical machine because I haven't worked out in almost a decade. I am not overweight, just really out of shape. I get tired walking half a mile. I have issues with my knees and back and don't want to waste money on a gym membership...that I know I won't use. I heard these were good low-impact exercise machines and so I thought I would try it out. This was a great price and after a lot of research I decided to take a chance. My view on it is -if I continue to use the machine and get in better shape I can either upgrade or find something else I like. I don't expect this particular machine to hold up for years or to be something equivalent to running, it is small and cheap. I think it's a perfect size and cost for a beginner like me.
My boyfriend had it put together in 45 minutes using only the tools provided in the box. I have used it for the last couple weeks and while I don't do more than 10 mins...that is really about my fitness level and not the machine, I think it will do just fine in helping me achieve my fitness goals. Btw-my packaging was fine.

| We love this machine. Perfect size for our house. It is quite quiet. I have retightened all the screws after a week. We follow the instruction from DVD it comes with. Exercise until heart rate above 120. Our health improved. I recommand it to everyone. |

| My wife picked out this elliptical for herself as a gift, and after reading the reviews and doing some research, I honestly had some concerns. Some people were complaining that the machine arrived damaged and that it was flimsy, etc. I thought, for the price, I might be better off buying something used that was currently being used as a clothes rack. However, as this was a gift, I decided "new" was a better option. When the box arrived, quite quickly I might add, it was pretty beat up and had a nice sized gash in one side. I thought I was in trouble. This is exactly the same complaint others had expressed and seemed usually to lead to disaster. Upon opening the box however, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the machine was nicely packed and the pieces unhurt. I set about putting it together and the love affair began... All the parts were there, the nuts and bolts shrink wrapped to a piece of cardboard describing what they were, it came with workable tools to assist in assembly, and the instructions were easy to follow. Sure it took a bit to get it together, as expected, but once it was done it functioned smoothly and felt very solid. It's a more compact device than many others we looked at too which is perfect for the little space we have to keep it in. What a great machine! Granted, we haven't had it for very long, but I am guessing that with moderate use, it will hold up fine. In all, we are very pleased with this purchase. If you are looking for an affordable, compact, smooth operating and sturdy elliptical, this machine is a great buy! |
